State audit countdown… ‘Cleaning out corruption’ VS ‘Preemptive suppression’

With the power of the people, the Democratic Party of Korea entered a state of emergency ahead of the start of the state audit on the 4th of next month. The People’s Power plans to focus on clearing out corruption by viewing the National Assembly as the last opportunity to evaluate the former Moon Jae-in administration. The Democratic Party is aiming for the presidential office, such as personnel and foreign affairs-related issues, and is in a position to take the lead in the early days of the Yun Seok-yeol administration.

The People’s Power held a pre-inspection meeting of the National Inspectorate on the 27th and held a signboard ceremony for the General Situation Room. Starting this week, the in-house countermeasure meeting, held twice every Tuesday and Friday, will be converted into a national inspection countermeasure meeting, and a report center will also be operated through the party’s website.

At the meeting, floor leader Joo Ho-young emphasized, “This is the last National Assembly to evaluate the five years of the Moon Jae-in administration in a holistic way.” Next, we set the tone for the National Inspectorate as △ ‘Political Inspectorate’, which fulfills the role of checking the legislative branch, △ ‘People’s Livelihood Inspectorate’ of the ruling party responsible, ‘Open National Inspection’ where the public participates and communicates transparently, and ‘Quality National Inspectorate’ that gives the people’s trust. The power of the people is planned to be questioned in light of the solar power policy during the Moon Jae-in administration, the shooting of an official of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, and the nuclear-free policy in the case of North Korean defectors repatriated to North Korea. He also foreshadowed an attack on the allegations of Daejang-dong and Baekhyeon-dong development projects and Seongnam FC sponsorship against Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party.

At the meeting, floor leader Park Hong-geun said, “I hope that the troika of diplomatic disasters such as Kim Seong-han, Director of the National Security Office, Kim Tae-pyo, First Deputy Director of the Security Office, and Kim Eun-hye, Senior Public Relations, will attend the National Assembly Steering Committee and clarify the facts.”
