The mechatronics engineering student’s work, ‘Integrated Standing Assistive Wheelchair’, which received the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award at the Korea Engineering Competition, was evaluated as an excellent technology to protect the lives of the elderly, such as preventing falls. The ‘IoT-based Hotel Service Door Lock’, a student work of Computer Engineering who won the Siheung Mayor’s Award, was made at the request of a company, and is continuing its achievements through patent application and subsequent technology development. Including these works, 41 excellent works were honored with the award.
